I managed to go to the NY Ren Faire on its last day. It was fun. I watched Dexter Tripp as usual. I also brought home a new little friend, Shadyn. He is a drabbit shadow dragon or so I have deemed a shadow dragon.
I will be heading back to PA Ren Faire for its last day. I haven't figured out what I am going on as. Hmmm.....so many choices in the costume suitcase (BIG suitcase)...hmmm....
My well loved corset seems to be seriously injured to the point that I can't wear it. It is sad. Very sad. My girls shan't see such lift for a little while. :,( (much sadder face)

Labor day monday found me enjoying the grand festivities of the PA Ren Faire. I went as a Fearie Princess (It was supposed to be Dragon Fearie Princess, but I did not get my wings finished.) I started the day in my Sun Costume and ended the Faire in my Moon Costume. I had a wonderful time.
If all finds me well, I shall be going to NY Ren Faire next weekend. I am not sure what my costume will be. I might just go as a gypsy dancer. Hmm....or just try another form of my princess costume. I suppose that really depends if I can drop a little weight before next sunday.
Also, I wish to thank all the well wishes on my completion of my degree. Thank you.
This Lady Dragon had finally earned her associates in elementary education. It has taken me three years to do, but I made it and I made it with honors. I was also accepted to a private four year university, which I start tomorrow. In addition, I am leaving my old job as librarian to start my course as a teacher. Now that all this chaos is dying down to a dull roar, I may actually make it to a Ren Faire. I hope to be the dragon princess at PA this coming holiday weekend. I still have several touches to do before my attire will be complete, but I am sure I should be able to finish in time.
Well, it is an early day for me tomorrow, so I must leave again now. May all be well.
Oy, it has been some time since I have written here. Such is the life of a college student. Looking forward to the upcoming season. Really hoping to get to as many different ren faires as possible. Hmm...Definate PA, most likely NJ and NY as well, Maryland is a big possibility and I hear there is one out in Ohio. Sounds like an eventful summer. Now, I just have to put the finishing touches on one of my new costumes (hoping for a sunny dry day so I can wear it) and start another gypsy costume. I also have a fairy costume I am making for a friend for her birthday. She doesn't know about that yet. So Shhhhhhh!! Well, Wish me luck!!
Agg!! Back to school work, hmm...I wonder if old text books make for interesting sword and jousting targets!
Once a upon a time in a far away land known as blogspot, I had a blog. However, the kingdom of blogspot no longer wanted me around, so they deleted me. Yet, it is their loss for I have finally found a nice comfy lair to call my own. Yes, I said lair. I happen to have a heart of a dragon and a soul of a phoenix. My friends knows where that comes from and would back me up any day. My friends do refer to me as a dragon, dragoness, dragonling from time to time. In fact, I even refer to myself as a dragon. I suppose that is just the writer in me screaming to be let free to ride the winds of dreams.
Well...It is nice to have a bright shiny new home with people who might actually understand me. I mean really, some people just don't understand why a girl's got to have a nice fitting corset, keep leather handcuffs and a whip under the bed, a cloak in the closet, and swords and daggers everywhere else in her appartment. I really do love my sharp, pointy objects of shiny goodness. **Smiles (mischeviously)** Also, those normal people seem to get sick of all those good olde folk ren faire tunes I sing year round. Come on, at least I can carry tune without the bucket!
